I am trying to trace where one of my ancestors, Henry Symons  (1839-1911) went in the United States and when. He was born and lived in Camborne. Camborne is twinned with Calumet. He died in Camborne.   My ancestor (Great Great Grandfather) Henry Symons joined the freemasons on arrival in the USA from Camborne, Cornwall, England. He was a sawyer at a mine in Cornwall and then in the USA. He went to the USA and returned to Camborne between 1861 and 1881. He was also in Camborne between 1873 (he married then) and 1877 (his second child was born then).   His younger brother, James Symons, a blacksmith (1851-1904) went to Arizona in the 1880s. His uncle’s son went to Wisconsin in 1865 and I have traced and met his descendants.   The other story passed down from my grandfather, who lived with Henry, and my great grandparents, at the end of the 19th, and start of the 20th century is that he lost some money on an investment suggested by a member of the freemasons. Accordingly, there might have been some form of dispute resolution or hardship loan as it was over £1,000 that he is said to have lost.   Is there a USA freemasons database I can search for him?    I have used freemasons searches and all the searches one can imagine on Ancestry and Find My Past.   The Museum of freemasons in the UK have searched but cannot find Henry in the UK.   Thank you for any help you can provide.
