Several months ago, my sweetheart, Holly, and I listened to an audiobook of "The Salt Path," by Raynor Winn. It's a memoir about her and her husband, Moth's, walk of the 630-mile South West Coast Path after they lost their home. It was a good 'listen' and a movie of it, starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, is due for release May 30, 2025. Holly and I got a small taste of the South West Coast Path during a visit to Cornwall last fall, so the book expanded nicely on our experience. Surely everyone's Cornish ancestors must have spent time walking it, too. I recommend the book and eagerly await the movie. When a trailer makes me laugh and cry, I know the movie is going to be good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ7RJCOm-c8 Is anyone else familiar with The Salt Path book? If so, what did you think of it?

This is a great book (and incidentally the first book that we read as part of the CAHS book club two years ago). I've read her other two books as well which are good (but not as good as this one). I've also hiked the SWCP from Bude to St Ives three years ago and am going back in May to continue from St Ives to Falmouth. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.
