Well, okay then. But they also fulfilled a bucket-list dream for Bob and me, to take our family to Cornwall for our 50th
anniversary to explore their maternal roots and culture.
We and our three children, two of their spouses, and the three youngest grandkids set up home base in Newquay. From there we took day trips. One was to explore the family roots in Par, Fowey and Polkerris, The other was up the north coast to Padstow and Port Isaac, then to Truro to find the Rosevear family crest in the cathedral.
